The Challenge
Finding a pet online means trusting a stranger, often with a deposit. Fake listings with stolen photos, deposits taken by sellers who disappear and endless shipping fees sit right beside real shelters and breeders. Adoption sites list rescues, breeder sites list breeders, and owners who need to rehome a pet have nowhere safe to do it.
The Solution
Built a US marketplace that puts shelters and rescues, owners rehoming a pet and breeders in one search, with direct messaging and no payments handled on the site. Trust is built in: shelters are verified by hand, sellers verify a phone number, photos are watermarked and checked for duplicates, and an AI scam check reads every new listing and message, taking a likely scam down until a moderator has looked.
